RMRC Ambassadors racing; Nick Round on his Yamaha R6

This was Nick’s first trek into the Irish road racing scene so the first laps were in the minibus! On Friday he got to ride the bike at least, 5 newcomer laps in convoy before going straight into qualifying sticking himself 9^th on the start grid.

Saturday was race day with 10 whole laps under his belt Nick focused on picking off one rider every lap, a strategy that worked a treat because he got 5^th place in his very first Irish Road Race.

Nick says “The course was mega and I really enjoyed it!!! We are staying on the week to race at Mid Antrim this weekend. Hopefully we get a few more laps this time!!!
