RatMally Ambassador Nick Round made his spectacular debut in the Northern Irish road racing scene, taking on the legendary and ferocious Armoy circuit aboard his Yamaha R6:

Touching down on Thursday, the weekend kicked off with newcomer signing-on and the mandatory visual sighting laps in the event minibus. For a first-timer on a Northern Irish course, entry into the Senior Support class is mandatory—and the grid was absolutely stacked with local talent.

Friday brought an immediate plunge into the deep end: 5 speed-controlled convoy laps followed instantly by official qualifying with zero prior practice. Nick excelled, putting his R6 an incredible 9th on the grid. Saturday was straight into business. Showing maturity beyond his experience on pure roads, Nick picked off a rival on every single lap, storming his way through the pack to cross the line in a sensational 5th place. To bag a top-5 finish with only 10 proper laps around Armoy is an unbelievable achievement!

The team is staying out in Ireland this week to take on the Mid Antrim road races this coming weekend.
