RatMally Ambassador Mike “Spike” Edwards experienced a weekend that truly had everything—technical heartbreaks, frantic paddock fixes, and blinding, history-making pace in the Krämer 690 Supermono Championship.
The on-track results were a proper mixed bag, featuring a brilliant race win, a hard-fought second place, and an ultimate engine blow-up resulting in a DNF. But the true headline of the weekend belongs in the history books: Mike was awarded the prestigious 75th Anniversary Snetterton Circuit trophy for shattering the lap record by the largest margin of the event!
Chasing speed required constant machine adjustments, with the standout moment being a miraculous 15-minute camshaft change executed by Don in the garages. A massive shout-out goes to Don and Mike’s entire dedicated support crew for the relentless effort they poured into the bike to keep the record-breaking pace alive.
