RatMally Ambassador Liam Murtagh battled intense physical tests and blazing track heat aboard his upgraded wing-equipped Kawasaki ZX10RR in the ultra-competitive Pirelli Super Series 1000 class:
🏁 Race 1: 6th Place
🏁 Race 2: 8th Place (A gritty finish despite physical hurdles)
🏆 Race 3: 4th Place (Sensational pace, just missing out on the podium!)
This was a big developmental weekend for the team, marking Liam's first competitive outing on the formidable Generation 7 specification ZX10RR complete with aerodynamic wings.
Navigating an insanely hot Cadwell Park circuit, the team made significant strides forward, proving the Kawasaki remains a sharp weapon against the latest grid-dominating machinery.
The weekend wasn't without its challenges. During Race 2, a severe bout of arm-pump struck Liam hard on the final lap, causing him to lose four hard-fought positions right before the flag. Showing immense resilience, Liam bounced back spectacularly in the final race to claim a brilliant 4th place.
Liam is lapping quicker at every circuit this year and currently sits comfortably in a fantastic 5th place in the overall National Championship standings. Next up, the paddock heads north in two weeks for a brand-new challenge: Liam’s debut race at the legendary Knockhill circuit in Scotland!
